PERMIT TO CARRY CLASS

Wild Acres Sporting Clays and Hunting Club is offering a certification class for individuals wishing to obtain a Minnesota Permit to Carry a Handgun from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday July 18, 2009 at the Wild Acres Farm, Pequot Lakes Mn. This course meets certification standards for state of Minnesota on carry and conceal. The class will consist of 3 hours of class room instruction with Outdoor Shooting Qualifications to follow. A fee of $125.00 along with a sign up registration form must be sent to Wild Acres by July 17, 2009. Terry Fairbanks, a certified instructor by Central Lakes College in Brainerd, will be conducting the class. You will be trained in the legal and practical handling to carry a hand gun with emphasis on Minnesota Law regarding use of deadly force, self-defense, and home defense.
Attendees must have experience with handgun loading and shooting and must provide a handgun and ammunition for the shooting qualification.
Wild Acres has a hand gun range to practice your shooting skills and to learn how to shoot. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6: p.m. 7 days a week. Reservations are necessary. Call or e-mail 218-568-5024 or mary@wildacresmn.com .
