Wild Acres Information

 

The Lodge
 
The lodge at Wild Acres is a rustic retreat, with a friendly atmosphere. The chandelier was designed by Mary herself and was created by the famous metal sculptor Jeff Krietz.
 
Mary offers the finest quizine you will find anywhere, from Roasted Wild Acres Spring Chicken to fresh Thanksgiving turkey and many other wild game treats as well. Wild Acres provides a taste for every palate.
 
Mary has been featured in the Minnesota Monthly Magazine recently in an article called 'Wild About Game' by Juliet Glass.
 
If you are vacationing in the Brainerd lakes area take a drive north on 371 to see the Wild Acres Hunting Club and Game Farm, its a must see for any sportsman.
 
 
From Brainerd head north on Highway 371 through Pequot Lakes.
Turn East (right) on County Road 16 at the A Pine Restaurant.
Watch for our sign on County Road 16  about 1-1/4 mile. Turn East (right) on Wild Acres Road keeping to the left as Wild Acres Road Turns to gravel. 1-3/4 mile to the Lodge.

Transportation to Wild Acres is available from Brainerd, with daily Commercial Airlines in and out of Brainerd.
 
 
SEASON & HOURS:
The hunting season commences in August and continues through March. The weather is the most significant factor affecting the closing. Shooting hours are 8 a.m. to sundown. In September and October it is wise to make your reservations well in advance to be assured of a confirmed date.
